Final Mix at halo.
Starring Florence Pugh and based on the book by Emma Donoghue, The Wonder is the tale of a young Irish girl, Anna O’Donnell, whose Catholic family claim she has eaten nothing since her eleventh birthday… four months ago. Set in The Irish Midlands in 1862, the story follows Anna as remains miraculously alive and well. English nurse Lib Wright is brought to a tiny village to observe eleven-year old Anna O’Donnell. Tourists and pilgrims mass to witness the girl who is said to have survived without food for months.
Since its world premiere at the Telluride Film Festival and its subsequent cinema release, The Wonder has received much critical acclaim and has been nominated for twelve BIFA awards.
