Now a successful filmmaker, Lorna Tucker (Westwood: Punk, Icon, Activist; Amà) was once a teenage runaway sleeping rough on the streets of London. For this frank, forceful and inspiring documentary, she returns to her former haunts and speaks to current and former homeless people about why, 25 years later, record numbers of people are still reduced to living on Britain’s streets.

Halo provided full Picture and Sound Finishing Post Production.
Director: Lorna Tucker said.. “They say it takes a village to raise a child, but it’s also true about making films.
Without Halo’s artistry, care and dedication, Someone’s Daughter, Someone’s Son would never have been completed to the high standards that it was. A lot of hand holding was needed with this one and not only was their artistic genius pivotal to the film, but each and every one of them held and supported me throughout, whether it was Post Manager Jess and her superb tech/people wrangling, the maestro colourist, Katherine Jamieson… to online editor Tom Young, the incredible sound saviors Simon Hill and Paul Darling, alongside all the runners and staff that supported me throughout the post production process.
I can’t wait to work with them again on my future projects and am grateful for all their hard work and dedication helping me get this film made.”
